Keeping Things Simple
“The more complex the organization, the more cloudy the the vision becomes”
This was the message of a recent Sunday sermon. If you’ve been reading this for any length of time, you know I that two topics we feel that are relatively private are one’s faith and political beliefs.
That being said, I felt this message can be applied to business, too. Think for a minute about major corporations who become so complex that they spend more time planning than actually doing.
The company my husband works for is a perfect example. They actually have meetings to prepare for the upcoming meeting. See what I mean?
The same can be applied to your business. If you are an entrepreneur and still flying solo, now is the time to assess keeping things as simple as possible. Of course, business has to grow in order to be successful, but you can still keep things simple.
The more complex, the more overwhelmed you will be and the more cloudy your vision will become.
