Frenn Photography Creates Memories Through Portraits

Meet Jamie Frenn

To start the week, we are very excited to turn the spotlight to an amazing local photographer, Jamie Frenn, of Frenn Photography.

Jamie was so gracious to do the photo shoot last month at a local charity event called “Wishes in Wonderland” to benefit Children’s Hospital, Wisconsin and Make-a-Wish, Wisconsin.

Jamie is also member of our local women’s business networking group, WOAMTEC, and has a very generous offer available to the group members.

Year Business Started: 1974

Why did you start this business?

Actually it was my husband that started the business – got the ‘bug’ in high school (AV crew etc), started doing weddings out of the home and it grew from there.

What advice do you have for new entrepreneurs?

Love,love, love what you do! Have to have a passion for it otherwise when you hit the bumps you will want to jump ship instead of weathering the storm. And…most importantly for Gilbert and I is our faith – we trust a lot in the Lord.

What else should would you like to tell us, Jamie?

We feel very blessed to do what we do – creating memories through portraits.

I can remember seeing a news report of the flooding we had this past spring. A woman who had lost most of her possessions due to the water held onto her photographs. Sometimes pictures are the only thing we have left. We are in a awesome business!

You’re absolutely right, Jamie, photographs are sometimes all that is left, so it’s really important to cherish them.
