When Did You Open for Business? 2011

Why Did You Start this Business?

There has always been talk in the Feaman household about joining together and starting a family business. Growing up with excellent family morals, a strong work ethic, and the friendly attitude to work with people, the Feaman’s joined their personalities and expertise together and made their dreams come true!

In October 2010, Larry, John, Pete, and I made the executive decision to become entrepreneurs and start our own family business called Integrated Payroll Services, Inc. My father, Larry Feaman, was part owner of a previous payroll company and has been in the industry for 20 years.

John and Pete Feaman, my two older brothers, while working in corporate accounting they acquired their CPA licenses and have been building their expertise in tax, audit, and business related inquiries. As for myself, I am a recent graduate from UW-Oshkosh with Bachelors in Business Marketing and upon graduation started working at Integrated Payroll Services, Inc.

Once we decided to join forces we found a great location in Delafield and officially started operations in January 2011. Having the business plan and structure of a local family owned and operated company, we’ve become the new opportunity for business to save money on payroll and receive the customer service they deserve.

What keeps you moving forward?

Having a family business is not all about money, but about the customer care and relationships we provide through our services that keep me coming to work every day. Growing a business with a common goal to make our clients life easier is what keeps us moving forward.

What advice do you have for new entrepreneurs?

People have always told me if you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life. You need to have the passion and love to grow your business and most of all enjoy it. If you put the time and effort to fully commit yourself to new adventures you will be successful.

What else would you like to tell us about your story?

We are committed and want to grow our company to inspire others. You just need to put your mind where your heart is, and go with it! Having the family touch to a business is so meaningful to our company and we hope we can share our passion with other area businesses.
