Why did you start this business?

To bring the artisanal chocolate traditions of Europe to the Milwaukee area.

What advice do you have for new entrepreneurs?

Be creative in every aspect of your business and identify what makes your business unique.

What else should we know about your story?

I started the business after backpacking through Europe for my honeymoon. I loved the European chocolate tradition of fresh and innovative ingredients and amazing presentation. I couldn’t find that back here in the Milwaukee area so I decided I would always wonder if I didn’t try. I took a year (while finishing my undergrad) to develop my recipes and business plan and opened in Nov. of 2007.
