What type of business is it? Photography studio specializing in Engagement and Wedding Photography.

Why did you start this business? I started the business because I love photography. Being in law school and the mother of two, this allowed me to have a creative outlet to maintain my sanity!

What keeps you moving forward?? What keeps moving me forward? My children. As cliche as that is, I am able to work on my business in the evening after they go to bed and spend the rest of my time with them.

What advice do you have for new entrepreneurs? Get to know the laws. Get to know your market. Get to know your local competitors. Get out there. Don’t hesitate. Go for it.

What else would you like to tell us about your story? Getting a web presence via social media has done wonders for my business. I thought word of mouth was enough. Not in this day and age. Once I dedicated time to building up a professional and easily accessible website, combined with social media interaction with clients, my business has been booming.
