About Patty Gale

Patty Gale – Creator of Inspired WebWorks

Patty Gale is the creator and owner of Inspired WebWorks. She brings more than 20 years of offline business experience and 10 years of web development expertise to small, local businesses, solo entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses across a wide variety of industries such as health & fitness, ministries, published authors and schools.

When she got started back in 2001, most of us were still on AOL dial-up and resources to learn how to create a website, (in language we could understand), were practically non-existent. Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, and his co-founders, were still in high school and a ‘tweet’ was something that birds did.

Her expertise in helping small business owners understand the web ‘in plain English’ led her to be a coach for Early to Rise’s ’5 Days in July Internet Marketing Conference ‘in 2007 and 2008.

Growing up in a family-run business, Patty knows small business and is very passionate about seeing them succeed using the power of their stories and the internet. She founded Inspired WebWorks because she believes that it should be simple for small businesses to have an amazing presence on the web.

As the former business columnist for Army Wife Magazine, and a former Army spouse, Patty’s contributions assisted established and start-up military-owned businesses through their unique challenges. Patty is also the co-author of the ‘Home Office Recovery Plan,’ which walks you step by step in creating a disaster preparedness plan for your small business.

Personally Speaking from Patty…

What Makes Your Heart Sing?

I’m Patty Gale and while I don’t know how you found your way here, I am really glad you did.

I’d love to get to know you and while I don’t know what your story is, I do know you have a passion, a dream, a gift.

…something placed upon your heart that you can’t stop thinking about.

…something that makes your heart sing!

You Can Take the Girl Out of New York …

but you can’t take the New York out of the girl!

Born and raised on Long Island in the 60′s and 70′s, I who grew up in a large, Italian family. It was a time when all the moms were home, kids spent their time outside and you could drink out of the hose.

To this day I talk with my hands, crave a good cannoli, and can still smell the sauce cooking on my grandmother’s stove.

I was an outside kid and now I’m an outside grownup. I LOVE outdoor adventure. Give me a ski slope, a hiking trail, a bike path or a road to run on and I am happy!

The Corner Office to the Home Office

Before being in business for myself, I was in corporate America in an industry making a lot of money for a lot of other people, spent 10 years as a single mom with no internet and few opportunities to work from home.

My family was 1,000 miles away, my sons (now grown men) went to daycare, before-school care and after-school care. I truly enjoyed the people I worked with, although many mornings were spent with tears on my way to work.

I wanted to be home with my sons, but that wasn’t the plan for me.

How I Got Started

In the late 1990′s, I met and married my soul-mate, Doug, our daughter came along in 2000. All I knew was that I was determined not to return to corporate America or leave her in daycare.

  • Back then, we were on AOL dial-up and resources to learn how to build an internet business were non-existent.
  • Back then, Mark Zuckerberg was still in high school and a ‘tweet’ was something that birds did.
  • Back then, I could turn on my computer, surf the web and that was it!

Today, I am blessed beyond my wildest imagination!

I have a successful business I am absolutely passionate about that allows me to work whenever and wherever I want with just my laptop and phone and my time is my own.

My daughter has never spent any time in daycare and now has her own internet business.

What I do Today

I believe that life is about having the freedom to do the things important to you with the people that matter most. It’s about creating amazing memories that will last into eternity.

I am a mom of 3. My sons are the bravest people I know as they proudly serve as U.S. soldiers. My daughter keeps me on my toes, my husband is my soul-mate and my family is my gift from God.

I balance my time between my family and my company. My goal is to help others discover what makes their heart sing, to go for it by daring to dream… and dream big! To have fun and make a difference!

Life by Design

I am absolutely passionate about helping you use the Internet to empower your life. Whether you are a local business owner, student, author or stay at home mom, you are designed for great things. Your spirit and passion is just waiting to shine, I know it! Together, we can make a difference for your family and for the next generation.
